Fleet Week - Naval Base San Diego
Ship Tours
November 2, 2024

The US Navy Fleet Week event in San Diego
was a little different this year.

Usually there are a couple of tours
over the weekend of Navy Ships
docked at the Broadway pier.

In addition to these, this year
the Navy had four additional tours
of ships docked at Naval Base San Diego
on the first Saturday of Fleet Week.

Since Bill has never been on the Navy Base,
He couldn't pass up this opportunity
to check out the ships.

The first ship toured was the
USS Montgomery (LCS-8).

Elevator doors on the hanger deck.

I have no idea of what this is,
but it looks serious.

This is the ramp between the hanger deck
and the flight deck.  It is extremely
steep!

All in all, it was a great day!

That's All Folks!!!
